The Cooperative Society, appreciating the high prices which students are forced to pay for the re-soling and repairing of shoes among the different trades men about the square, has established a department in the cellar of their present building where all such work can be done about a third cheaper than almost anywhere else in Cambridge.
The rooms of the tailoring department have been enlarged by making use of an extra apartment which connects with the old quarters.
