The hour of holding chapel services at the U. of P. has been changed from 8. 55 to 9. 55.
James H. Simpson of St. Paul, Minn., has been elected captain of the Yale freshman crew. He is in the academic department and is stroking the crew at present.
Professor Hart writes on "The Ancient Commonwealth of San Marino," and Professor James has an article upon "The Medical Advertisement Abomination," in the current number of The Nation.
The faculty of Johns Hopkins has passed a stringent rule requiring the captains of athletic teams to hand in the names of the candidates, and any one who is not found to be a bona fide student in good standing will not be permitted to play.
