Day before yesterday an ancient Etruscan tomb was opened and a large number of relics of the period of 800 B. C. were found within it.

At a meeting of the school held at Exeter Monday morning, Symington '95 was elected treasurer of the school and Draper '96, secretary.

The gymnasium formerly used by the Manhattan Athletic Club has been leased by two of Columbia's alumni, for the use of the students.

The Exeter faculty has decided that the manager of any of the school athletics must give the faculty a bond of $250 before he can enter upon his duties.

All of last year's bicycle team at Yale began regular work in the gymnasium Monday. Hereafter, any first-year candidate for the athletic team who fails to report daily for practice will be considered as finally dropped.

The lacrosse team at Cornell has been called together to begin practice for the winter term. Of the men of last year's team there are present and in training, Findley, Taylor, Leighton, Bell, Daggert, Wilkinson and Capt. Downey.
