The Worcester Academy Club held its first meeting of the year last night in Winthrop Hall. During the evening a zoological collection of the shell-fish and reptiles of Eastern Massachusetts, the work of several of the members for the Agassiz Association at Worcester, was exhibited.
The club, which was founded in 1891, now has about thirty members, of whom seven are freshmen.
Chess Club.S. M. Ballou, L. S., and W. L. Van Kleeck '95 are the two men who will represent Harvard in the Intercollegiate Chess Tournament.
Philosophical Club.The regular meeting of the Philosophical Club was held last evening, and E. K. Rand, F. C. Wicks, R. Macdonald, R. Calkins, and A. P. Andrews were elected to membership.
