PERCY F. EMORY, Sec.LACROSSE. - Practice in throwing and catching will be continued in the Carey Building until the Christmas recess. All men who intend training for the team are expected to turn out. I will usually be in the Carey Building at 3.45 p. m. to instruct beginners.
J. A. LEIGHTON.MERMAID CLUB. - Meeting Friday, December 7, in 35 Hastings, at 8.15 sharp. Professor Bocher will give an informal talk on French dramatic matters. A very important business meeting will be held on December 14.
FRESHMAN MANDOLIN CLUB. - Rehearsal today at 5 sharp at 26 Holyoke street. There is great need of material and more men must show up if the club is to be carried on successfully.

CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION. - Regular meeting tonight at 6.45 in Holden Chapel. Subject: "What is it to be a Christian?" Acts II, 26. Luke 14, 26-27. All members of the University are cordially invited.
CERCLE FRANCAIS. - Men that take part in the play and in the ballet must go to Garey's, corner of West and Washington Streets, and to Raymond's, 21 Pemberton Square, for their wigs and costumes respectively, before or on Saturday, Dec. 8.
STUDENT VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE. - The Student Volunteer Committee has received applications for clothing to be used in connection with the organized charity work of Boston. The character of the societies making the application insures the wisest possible distribution. If men having clothing which they wish to place at the disposal of these societies will send word to H. C. Wright, 4 Divinity, or any other member of the committee, the clothes will be called for.
ALL members of the University interested in the reorganization of the Pedagogical Club are requested to meet in Sever 8, at 4.30 p. m., Thursday, Dec. 6.
