6 tfTHE LILIPUTIANS. - This week the Liliputians commence their two weeks' engagement at the Tremont Theatre, presenting their new grand spectacular production, "Humpty Dumpty up to Date." Of the series of splendid spectacles brought forward by the Messrs. Rosenfeld, this easily takes the first place. The freshness and beauty of the ballets, the artistic richness of the costumes, the catchy and tuneful music with which it abounds, and the brilliant electrical effects have not been surpassed by any presentation seen in this city in many years. The conclusion of the first act, with its gorgeous ballet of "Drinks," the stage crowded with pretty girls, each group exquisitely and originally costumed to represent some favorite beverage, will arouse the greatest enthusiasm. The spectacular effects in the third act surpass everything presented previously. The entire stage, which represents the Palace of Gems, will be simply ablaze with electricity. Every one should see "Humpty Dumpty up to Date," with Franz Ebert as Humpty Dumpty, and all the other favorites, Adolph Zink, Ludwig Merkel, Hermann Ring, Bertha Jaegar, Selma Goerner, Ida Mahr and Toni Meister, and a wonderful giant nine feet tall, called Kaleb.
