We can not speak too warmly in approval of the vote passed in favor of the establishment of a committee who may in the future have a voice in all questions relating to the erection of college buildings and the development of college property. That Harvard might have been made much more attractive, had there been in the past some such influence at work, is all too evident. But, as we all hope and believe that the University is to keep on expanding, there is every reason why provision should be made for the future before it is too late. We have no doubt that the vote will be ratified by the President and Fellows.
