'Varsity Eleven.

The 'varsity eleven, in addition to the regular work on signals, played a short practice game with the senior eleven, yesterday, on Soldiers Field.

The Game Wednesday.Manager Moore could not, while in Providence, finally arrange for the game with Brown next Wednesday, owing to her previous agreement with Technology. There is little doubt, however, that Brown will be able to play. If she is not, some other game will be arranged.

Freshman Eleven,The freshman eleven went through the regular practice yesterday afternoon, and for a short time lined up on the secret field against a team made up of men from the first and second 'varsity elevens.

A game has been arranged with the Worcester High School, to be played in Cambridge tomorrow afternoon.

Yale-Princeton Game.Manhattan Field has been chosen for the Yale-Princeton football game on December 1. The price to be paid is the same as last year, $6000.

[N. E. Associated Press.]NEW YORK, Nov. 8 - An evening paper says: At a secret meeting in C. C. Cuyler's office this afternoon, Messrs. Cuyler, Adee, Managers Cable and Munn, and Secretary Stackhouse of the New York base ball club, being present, it was decided to have the contracts relative to the match drawn up and made ready for signature tomorrow. The New York baseball club offered its down-town office for the disposal of tickets, eliminating one item of expense which the University Athletic Club compelled the college associations to shoulder.

Brown-C. A. A. Game Postponed.[Special to the HARVARD CRIMSON.]

PROVIDENCE, R. I., Nov. 8 - The game between Brown and the Chicago Athletic Association which was to have been played here today was indefinitely postponed on account of bad weather and bad grounds.

Princeton Practice.[Special to the HARVARD CRIMSON.]

PRINCETON, N. J., Nov. 8. - The Princeton eleven lined up today in two twenty minute halves for the last practice before the game with Pennsylvania on Saturday. Afterwards they returned to the cage and spent an hour in practicing the signals. The practice was in many respects the best of the year, with many brilliant runs and tackles. The interference was unusually good, and materially aided in making the three touchdowns of the afternoon.

The make-up of the eleven against Pennsylvania will be: Ends, Trenchard and Smith: tackles, Holly and Lea; guards, Taylor and Wheeler; centre, Biggs; quarterback, Poe; halfbacks, Morse and Ward; fullback, Cochran.
