Captain Robert W. Emmons 2d '95, of Boston, entered college from Groton School, where he had played end rush and been captain of the team. In his freshman year at Harvard he played left end on the 'varsity, and this position he has held ever since. He has never taken a prominent part in any form of athletics but football. Age 21, height 6 ft., weight 179.

B. G. Waters, L. S., of Boston, right tackle, prepared at the Boston Latin School. In his sophomore year he made the 'varsity eleven as tackle, then he played at guard, and last year when captain he was one of the half-backs. Age 23, height 5 ft. 11 1-2 in., weight 186.

William C. Mackie, Med., of Boston, left guard, also entered from the Boston Latin School. In his freshman year he made his class eleven, and since then has played guard on the 'varsity each year. Age 24, height 6 ft. 1 in., weight 207.

Charles Brewer '96, of Boston, halfback, fitted at Hopkinson's School, where he was captain of the eleven. He has played behind the 'varsity line since he first entered Harvard. Age 21, height 5 ft. 10 in., weight 150.

Arthur H. Brewer '96, of Boston, right end, also entered from Hopkinson's School, where he had played end. He made his freshman eleven, and was tried in the Pennsylvania game last year. This is his first full year on the 'varsity, but he has done remarkable work. Age 19, height 5 ft. 11 in., weight 162.

J. E. N. Shaw '98, of Mattapoisett, right guard, has never before played football. He is heavy, though, and has worked hard, till now he is an excellent player in spite of his greenness. Age 18, height 6 ft., weight 195.

Frank G. Shaw '97, of Boston, centre rush, held that position on his freshman eleven last year, but was not expected to make the 'varsity. He has developed rapidly. Age 19, height 6 ft. 2 in., weight 194.

S. W. Wheeler '98, of Philadelphia, left tackle, prepared at St. Paul's school, where he played guard. Age 17, height 5 ft. 11 in., weight 187.

Robert H. Hallowell '96, of West Medford, left tackle, plays for the first time this year on the 'varsity. In his freshman year he did not even play on his class team, but last year he made guard on it, and has since been improving fast. Age 20, height, 6 ft., weight 172.

Thomas J. Manahan '96, of Boston, left tackle, came from the English High school, where he was captain of the eleven. He was guard on his freshman team and played at tackle against Yale last year. Age 20, height 5 ft. 11 in., weight 188.

Norman W. Cabot '98, of Brookline, left end, prepared for college at Hale and Noble's School, where he was last year captain of the eleven which won the junior championship. He has been playing on the freshman eleven until very recently. Age 17, height 5 ft. 11 in., weight 164.

Robert D. Wrenn '95, of Chicago, quarterback, entered from the Cambridge Latin School, where he played football. He is best known as the tennis champion, though he played on his class team in both freshman and sophomore years, being captain in the latter. Age 21, height 5 ft. 9 in., weight 148.

Arthur M. Beale '97, of Dorchester, quarterback, prepared at the Boston Latin School, where he was captain of the eleven. He played quarter on the 'varsity last year. Age 20, height 5 ft. 8 in., weight 154.

Edgar N. Wrightington '97, of Brookline, half-back, was captain of the Longwood team before entering college. He played on the 'varsity in the big games last year, and in his freshman game against Yale. Age 19, height 5 ft. 10 1-2 in., weight 163.

Parker W. Whittemore '95, of Roslindale, halfback, came from the Boston Latin School. He is the captain of the baseball team, and has won a reputation on the nine. Last year he played on his class eleven, and was tried on the 'varsity squad without much success. He has been playing only a month this year. Age 22, height 5 ft. 9 1-2 in., weight 159.

M. G. Gonterman '95, of Galesburg, Ill., halfback, played football for the first time last year, when he was substitute on the 'varsity. Age 21, height 5 ft., 10 in., weight, 160.

John C. Fairchild '96, of Boston, fullback, prepared at Hopkinson's School. He was captain of his freshman eleven, and has been substitute quarterback on the 'varsity two years. Age 21, height 5 ft. 7 1-2 in., weight 162.
