The Harvard Union holds its second competitive debate for membership tonight in Sever 11, at 7.30 o'clock. Three members of the Faculty have consented to act as judges. The subject is "Resolved, "That the suffrage in municipal affairs should be extended to women." The principal disputants will be R. C. Davis '97 for the affirmative and J. P. Gately, Sp., for the negative. Competition is open to all members of the University except freshmen. Speeches are limited to five minutes. The public are invited to all debates of the Harvard Union.
Boston Latin School Association.The Boston Latin School Association held a most successful meeting last night in Thayer 62 and 68. Over forty men were present. Business was transacted and the men passed a very pleasant social evening.
The Association is now firmly established, with a definite organization and a membership of fifty. It is proposed to hire a hall, in which to hold the monthly meetings in the future. All Boston Latin School men are urged to join the association by sending their names to the secretary, J. W. Edmunds, 8 Matthews.
