The 'varsity backs were on Soldiers Field yesterday morning for the usual practice in punting. Those men of the junior and sophomore elevens, who appeared for practice, were lined up against the 'varsity to break through on the punters.

All the 'varsity players were in secret practice in the afternoon except Waters and F. Shaw. The latter is slightly over-trained and is having a deserved rest. Waters went with Dr. Brooks, Newell and Lewis to New Haven to see the Yale-C. A. A. game.

Today's Game.The game today with Brown should be an interesting one, judging from the work her team has done this season. In the first game with Harvard, on October 11, she scored 4 to 18, while Yale defeated her on November 3 by a score of only 12 to 0. The game will be called at 3.30 o'clock.
