A.CHESS CLUB. - The object of the fall chess tournament is two-fold: First, to ascertain what players shall represent Harvard in the intercollegiate tournament at New York; second, to promote acquaintance and fraternity among all the chess players in college. By entering the tournament men meet many other players of the same strength as themselves, and it is therefore desired that every chess player, whether he has played much or little, will not hesitate to enter. This is the last day for entries in the blue-book at Bartlett's.
