Outside of Boston the newspapers of the country seem to be on the alert for an opportunity to run down anything or anybody that has to do with Harvard. The New York papers went a little too far, however, in some of the things they said about Captain Emmons, on Sunday. The harsh criticisms were wholly uncalled for.
