Prospect Union.

The Prospect Union has been quite successful in its attempt to get together a library. By canvassing some of the buildings about three hundred books of all descriptions have been collected, and besides these the Foxcroft Club has generously given its library of two hundred books. It has been found that men have been very ready to give when someone has personally explained just what use the books are to be put to, but it will be impossible to canvass the whole college. It is hoped therefore that men will bring the books they can afford to part with to the CRIMSON office or will send notice to the librarian, E. H. Goodwin, Matthews 50, in order that they may be made immediate use of. Books of all kinds are wanted but at present there is more need for the text books used in courses in college. If enough of these are obtained it will be possible to run all the courses without asking those who can ill afford it to buy any text books.
