With all the ill luck that has attended the football eleven it must be hard for Harvard men to keep from losing heart a bit. At the beginning of the season the material for the eleven seemed somewhat less promising than usual and it is no exaggeration to say that since then on almost every second day some valuable man has been injured. Such a succession of misfortunes is enough to try sorely the most hopeful of us.
With the team in its present crippled condition the captain must be able to command the services of every man in the University who can be of any aid to him. We are glad to say that such men are generally showing their appreciation of the situation.
