Meeting of Overseers.

At the adjourned meeting of the Board of Overseers yesterday afternoon, it was voted to concur with the President and Fellows in their votes electing Charles Loring Jackson, A.M., professor of chemistry, and George Lyman Kittredge, A.B., professor of English: appointing for three years from September 1, 1894, William Parker Cooke, D.M.D., instructor in crown and bridge work; Lewis Jerome Johnson, C. E., instructor in civil engineering: appointing the following instructors for one year from September 1, 1894: Henry Livingston Coar, A.M., in German; Richard Clarke Manning, A.B., in Latin; Leon Stacy Griswold, A.B., in geology; Richard Elwood Dodge, A.B., in geology: appointing the following committee on the regulation of athletic sports for one year from September 1, 1894: three members of the Faculty, James Barr Ames, A.M., LL.B., George Alonzo Bartlett, A.M., William Morris Davis, M.E.; three graduates, William Hooper, A.B., Perry Davis Trafford, A.B., Edward Hickling Bradford, M.D.: appointing Philip S. Moxom, D.D., preacher to the University for one year from September 1, 1894; George Pierce Baker, A.B., a member of the Administrative Board of Harvard College for one year from September 1, 1894: appointing as members of the University Council, Alexander Agassiz, LL.D., Benjamin Lincoln Robinson, Ph.D.
