Football.

Yale, 23; Williams, 4.

[N. E. Associated Press.]

NEW HAVEN Oct. 10. - The Yale-Williams football game at the Yale field today resulted in Yale's favor by the score of 23 to 4.

It was an interesting game, long runs being made by Thorne, Marks and Beard of Yale, and by the Draper brothers of Williams. The principal point of interest was the feat of Williams in scoring against Yale and keeping the contest a tie for nearly the entire first half. Yale scored in two minutes, and had the ball at the Williams 25 yard line when a snap-back fumble lost it. Williams then made dogged gains until the ball had been planted at Yale's five yard line. On the next down F. Draper went through Yale's right tackle and over the line.

Marks and Thorne made touch-downs and Thorne kicked a goal from the field during the rest of the contest.
