NEW HARVARD UNION.- In addition to the regular debate on Jan. 5, all members of the University are invited to take part in a competitive debate for membership. Subject: "Resolved, That Congress should provide more adequate protection for the free exercise of the suffrage by negro voters." Debate to begin at 7.30 sharp in Sever 11.
NINETY-FOUR CREW.- All candidates will be in the gymnasium dressed to row at 4.30 p. m. today.
FRESHMAN CREW.- Be in the rowing room of the gymnasium dressed to row at 3.30 sharp, today.
L. DAVIS.On Friday evening at 7.30 there will be a competitive debate for membership in the Wendell Phillips Club. The question to be debated is "Resolved, That the policy of the present administration in regard to Hawaii is to be condemned." Any member of the University who is interested in debating is invited to speak in competition. From the speakers a committee will select the five best as candidates for membership. The meeting will be held in Sever 11.
