Today Dr. Donald, of Trinity Church, Boston, begins the first complete week of his term of service this year as University Preacher. Since Dr. Donald began his service of the University he has endeared himself to the students by the manliness of his speech and by the cordiality of his manner toward those who may have talked with him in Wadsworth House. He comes to us at an unfortunate time, the beginning of the dreaded mid-year period, but we trust that the examinations will in no way cause a falling off in the attendance at morning prayers. Surely no man is so busy that he cannot afford to leave his books for fifteen minutes in the early morning, especially when those minutes are sure to make the rest of the day better for him.
