For the benefit of those who are in college this year for the first time, it may be interesting to state that the Harvard Portfolio is the annual publication at Harvard, which is similar to the books issued about commencement in all colleges. The insertion of all the senior class makes the book of especial interest to ninety-three men, but the many other illustrations form a beautiful and complete souvenir, which appeals to the interest of all connected with the University.
In addition to the pictures of all the professors, seniors, buildings, class day officers, commencement speakers, Phi Beta Kappa, Hasty Pudding, 'varsity athletic teams, '93 football team, musical clubs, Pierian Sodality, college editors and graduating class of the Law School, there will be two new features, one of which is a memorial page to Phillips Brooks and Andrew Peabody and the other a picture of the yard by moonlight, a comparatively recent art in photography. The time of going to press has been delayed a week in order to secure the pictures of the greatest possible number of seniors and the book will contain the photographs of more men than ever before. The Portfolio will be put on sale about June 15th, and in shape and binding will be similar to last year's edition.
