WITH this issue the CRIMSON suspends publication until the first day of the college year '93-'94. We hoped to be in a position to congratulate our nine and those who have had it in charge on the outcome of the game with Yale. The stormy weather, however, disappointed us as it did thousands of others. We shall not have another opportunity to comment upon the work of the nine and consequently take this last chance to extend the heartiest thanks of the University to Captain. Frothingham for his able and conscientious management. He has filled his position with the utmost satisfaction and in a way by which others can well take profit. To Colonel Winslow and Mr. Smith, Harvard also owes a great deal. Both have shown themselves intensely interested in our welfare and for their effective coaching we feel profoundly grateful. The players themselves have, for the most part, worked with earnestness and a real appreciation of what is demanded of them. What is to be the final result of their faithful labors is unfortunately still a matter of doubt. Yet we hope for the best and have confidence that they will fulfil our expectations. And finally we would extend our congratulations to Manager Hill for his successful conduct of the business affairs of the club. He has had a clear idea of the interests for which he is working and these interests he has supported in every creditable manner.
