The program of secular music which was given by the chapel choir at the Colonial Club on Saturday will be repeated next Saturday afternoon.

Ex-Senator Leland Stanford, who endowed the California university of that name, died on Tuesday night. He had given the university property worth over $+++5,000,000, and died worth over $70,000,000.

The fielding and batting on the Andover nine for the past season was led by the following men - fielding, Greenway, Letton and Paige, in the order named: batting, Allen, Greenway and Donovan.

Clarence Bayne, recently elected captain of the University of Pennsylvania nine, died on Tuesday afternoon. He became ill on the recent New York and New England trip of the team, and was taken to the hospital immediately on his return, suffering from appendicitis. He was unable to stand the shock of the operation which proved necessary and died while delirious. He was the best pitcher the University had for years and was much loved by his fellow players.
