The Lovells beat the second nine yesterday by a score of 14 to 11 in seven innings. The game was poorly played on both sides. Although the second nine batted for 12 hits, including one home run, and made but five errors, the Lovells bunched their eleven hits, one a three bagger, and made their eight errors at a time when they were not at all costly. Loand and Dolan were the battery for Lovells, and for Harvard O'Malley caught, Linfield and McCarthy pitched. Hickey did the best batting for Harvard, a home run with two men on bases. Paine played a good game at first.

Innings 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Lovells 1 0 1 2 4 6 0 14
