To the Editors of the Crimson:

What has become of Harvard's courtesy. Dr. Rainsford preached the baccalaureate sermon on Sunday. He came here at great personal inconvenience, sacrificing more than a week of his vacation in order to be present. Neither the University preacher nor the president of the University was present at the services, although President Dwight of Yale was there. Dr. Rainsford received no sign of hospitality from anyone other than members of the class, and left town Sunday evening, after having dined at a student club table.
