Cricket.

The Harvard cricket team was defeated yesterday by Haverford by the score of 205 to 49. There was no reason for the poor showing that Harvard made; it was due entirely to lack of confidence. The day was an excellent one for cricket and the ground was in good condition.

The visitors won the toss and chose to bat. They batted in excellent form and were throughout steady. In the field they were equally clever, and Harvard's last cricket fell for 49.

Harvard followed on and when time was called had 55 runs for one cricket. Clark batted and fielded well for Harvard, and Pool and Johnston also made double figures.
