The second meeting of the shooting club this year, at which the founder's cup was competed for was held yesterday afternoon on Soldier's Field. The contest was very close. Hechscher winning the cup. which if won four times in succession. or eight times it all becomes the property of the winner. The founders cup will again be competed for next week, and the captain wishes as many men as possible to attend the shoots which are held every Tuesday and Friday. The shooting of all the men to-day was very good, but as many good shooters as possible are urged to try for the team, as the time for the intercollegiate contest is rapidly approaching. This match, it will be remembered, will be a four cornered one between Harvard, Yale, Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania.
