On Monday twenty candidates for the Yale nine went to the training table. On the same day also the team took its first out-door practice of the season at the field, the work consisting in batting and out-fielding. The men who went to the table were as follows: Pitchers - Carter '95; Warner '94; Speer '95; Armstrong '95 S. Catchers - Kedzie '93 S.; Jackson '93 S,; Greenway '95 S.; George '94. 1st base - Stephenson '95 S.; Colegate '96. 2d base - Hedges '96; Hewitt '94 S. 3d base - Rustin '94 S.; Sheffield '94. S. Shortstop - Harvey '93; Arbuthnot 94. Outfield - Case '94; Beal '93 S.; Bigelow '94; Bliss '93 S.
