The annual chess match between the representatives of Oxford and Cambridge universities will take place on March 24. The games will be played at the British Chess Club.
The Yale Field Corporation has granted permission to the Law School nine to play their games on the field when it is not used by the 'varsity nine and also to practice on the field at will.
Of the forty nine races that have been rowed since the inauguration of these contests between Oxford and Cambridge universities, in 1829, Oxford has won twenty-six, Cambridge twenty-two and a dead heat was rowed in 1877.
