IN connection with the introduction of novelties in the winter meetings, we would call attention to the notice which appears to-day in regard to forming a class for spring-board leaping. Mr. Lathrop is to have charge of this class. He wishes if possible to select a few to give an exhibition next Saturday. A week is a very short time to put men into condition for such an event, hence we would urge particularly those who have had experience in this line of gymnastics to come forward and do what they can to make the scheme a success. There ought to be at least a large number of candidates, whether new or old. The more there are the greater the chance that the right men may be found.
