The failure of the Harvard and Yale baseball managements to arrange games for this spring is not in any way final. The matter is still pending and will doubtless be settled satisfactorily in time. The undergraduate rule, as it now stands, is a fixture at Yale for one year only, and is subject to considerable modification. It can hardly prove an insurmountable obstacle, considering the strong feeling at Yale against it and in view of the declaration which was made, when the first vote at Yale was reconsidered, that games would be arranged with Harvard regardless of the action of the university on the second vote.
