At the meeting of the Harvard Religious Union last evening in Holden Chapel, Mr. Harris, of the Divinity School, spoke on the "Force of Prayer." Mr. Harris said that all the greatest and best things on the earth, the great cathedrals, which are the highest type of architecture, the Bible, which is the highest form of literature, have all come into being, directly or indirectly, through prayer. Everyone feels the need of looking up to some higher being, and this want is satisfied by means of prayer.
At the close of the talk an informal discussion was held by the members.
