Buildings will soon be under construction on the new site of Columbia College, at Riverside Heights. On one side of the quadrangle a large building, including the library, Chapel and dining hall, will be built, together with the offices of administration and academic theatre, capable of seating 2,000 or 2,500 people. On the other side of the quadrangle are to be buildings devoted to the various departments. A gymnasium will also be erected. The buildings will not exceed four stories in height. The removal of the college to the new site will probably be accompanied by the adoption of the dormitory system.
