The Sparring Club met at the new club rooms last night and perfected a permanent organization for the year. The following officers were elected: J. P. Roman '95, president; H. L. Newman '94, vice-president; A. H. Linder '95, secretary; W. H. Cameron '95, treasurer. The executive committee consists of the officers and Conrad Smith '96 and H. L. Lee '97.
The club rooms at 7 Brattle street are well fitted up with boxing apparatus and are provided with hot and cold shower baths. A boxing instructor has been hired who will give lessons to the members. It is the intention to have fortnightly meets at the rooms, and arrangements will be made with the B. A. A. and other clubs for occasional bouts. The club starts with 37 members and the total membership will be limited to 50.
