Every football game in which Harvard has been represented this year has had its lesson. The freshman game Saturday showed again the folly of matching an aggregation of "stars" against a well drilled team. Of course it could not be helped this year because of the necessity of using so many freshmen on the varsity team. The lesson is general, though, and must be learned with many others before Harvard can ever be supreme in football.
