New Harvard Union.

There will be but two more meetings of the New Harvard Union before the mid-year examinations. These will be held on January fifth and twelfth. The subject for the first of these meetings will be, "Resolved, that Congress should provide more adequate protection for the free exercise of the suffrage by negro voters."

After the debate by the members of the Union on this question any member of the University may, by giving a five minute speech, make himself a candidate for membership. A board of judges, composed of members of the faculty, will select a number of the best speakers and from these new members will be elected to the Union. This will be the last opportunity for candidates before the trial for the Princeton debate.
