Annual Fall Games.

Yesterday afternoon the 'varsity games were finished with the exception of the hammer throwing, which was postponed on account of darkness, till four p. m. today.

The events and winners yesterday were as follows:

2 mile bicycle race, 6 entries-All put back 50 yds. in the absence of the scratch man. Won by A. B. Holmes '96, scratch, in the good time of 5 min., 36 1-5 sec. Second, W. R. Brinkerhoff '97, 125 yds.

High jump, 5 entries-Won by W. H. Phelps, L. S. S., '97, 4 in.; height, 5 ft., 11 7-8 in. Second, A. Stickney, Jr., 2 in. Stickney's actual jump was the highest made. He cleared 5 ft., 8 1-2 in. with the greatest ease, failing at 5 ft., 10 in. because of each time catching with his foot, though his body was well above the bar.

Putting the shot, 5 entries-Won by A. Stickney, Jr., '97, 8 ft.; distance, 41 ft., 5 1-2 in.

Broad jump, 7 entries-Won by F. Mason '96, 3 ft.; distance, 22 ft. 11 in. Second, D. Winter, Jr., 2d yr., 2 ft.; distance, 22 ft., 8 in.

Pole vault, 2 entries-Won by W. E. Putnam, Jr., '96, scratch; height, 8 ft., 6 1-4 in. Second, W. D. Cotton, scratch.
