The meeting of the Wendell Phillips Club will be held in University 16 at 7.30 this evening. Men who are already candidates for membership are invited to be present.
At the last meeting an amendment was adopted regulating admission to the club. It provides that at certain meetings to be designated, the debate shall be thrown open to men who desire to become candidates for membership. From the candidates on these occasions, a committee shall choose the best speakers (not exceeding five on any occasion) who shall thereupon be considered as candidates for membership.
The meeting on November 10 will be open to candidates. The question will be, "Resolved, that the English House of Lords should be abolished and an elec.
