The announcement that the tie game between the seniors and juniors will be played off on Saturday afternoon, will be unpleasant news to the athletic association. This game will be sure to draw a large number of men from the University games who would certainly be on Holmes to show their interest if there was not such a variety of events on this same day. Besides the class game on Norton's Field, the freshman game with Exeter will be in progress on Jarvis. Here will be three very attractive events going on simultaneously. The result will be, of necessity, a lack of interest in some one or two of the three; this means that the events will be defeating their own end and will be producing a lack of harmony which is very undesirable. We can appreciate the desire to have the tie game settled, but it seems to us that another day early next week might better have been agreed upon.
