The second of a series of open meetings of the Deutcher Verein will be held tonight in the Delta Upsilon rooms. Professor Schilling will read a paper on "Shakespere in German Literature."
The object of the Verein is to encourage the study of German life and literature and to provide a means of social intercourse for those interested in German. Meetings are held every other week when the club is, as a usual thing, addressed by a member of the faculty or by some prominent German.
At the annual reception this year, which will probably be held in the spring, two short plays in German will be given. One of these is to be written by a member of the Verein.
