American Ornithologists' Union.

Today is the second day's session of the Annual Congress of the American Ornithologists' Union, the meetings of which are held in the Nash Lecture Room of the University Museum at 11 a. m. and 2 p. m., and are open to the public. This is a rare opportunity to hear the most eminent men in their line.

The principal papers to be read today are: "Protective Coloration and Natural Selection," and "Protective Mimicry," by J. A. Allen; and "The Island of Trinidad and its Bird Life; Illustrated with Lantern Slides," by Frank M. Chapman.
