Road Race.

A handicap road race, open to all members of the University, will be held by the Cycling Association on Friday, November 24. A blue book for entries, fee fifty cents, has been placed at Thurston's. Instead of holding the race at Chestnut Hill Reservoir, as in past years, where very few ever went to see it, it has been decided to run it over Concord avenue to Belmont and thence to Arlington, returning by way of North Avenue and finishing near the gymnasium.

A gold medal, struck from the Cycling Association die, as first prize, with similar medals in silver, bronze, and white metal, for second, third, and fourth prizes, will be offered in order to bring out a large field of starters. A cup will be given for the best time made over the course, in order to give the fastest riders an object; for, since the main purpose of the race is to bring out and encourage new riders, the committee will give very liberal handicaps.
