The Classical Club, at a recent meeting, elected H. E. Burton, 2 Gr., secretary and treasurer. The club has taken a decided step forward in the last year or two. It has a membership of 60 or more, mostly graduates. Undergraduates only of the highest standing, generally men who have taken second year honors in classics, are admitted. Meetings are held once a fortnight, alternating between rooms of student members and Lomes of the professors. There is always a talk by some professor or some eminent person from another college. Arrangements are being made for several interesting lectures to be given during the winter.
