In the first round of the doubles in the intercollegiate tennis, Gosline and Wrenn of Harvard won their match against Candler and White of Columbia, 6-2, 6-3. Chase and Read were also easily successful, beating Fowler and Terry of Yale in two sets, 6-1, 6-1.
In the second round, however, they met Chace and Budlong of Brown and lost in a three set match, 0-6, 8-6, 2-6.
