The New Harvard Union will hold its competitive debate for membership on Friday at 7.30 in Sever 11. Assistant Professor Cummings, Mr. Conant, and Mr. Copeland have kindly consented to act as judges. The speeches will be limited to five minutes each. Every member of the University is invited to attend, and try in competition for admittance to the socity. Those who do not care to speak will also be welcomed.
The question is, "Resolved, that United States senators should be chosen by a direct vote of the people."
