For some time there has been at the door of Memorial Hall a box for the collection of periodicals of all kinds which the students do not care to keep. The papers collected there are taken to the Cambridge Hospital to be distributed among the patients. It is a little matter for men to drop in the box the papers which they would otherwise throw away, and the number of papers collected there each day would be much greater if the existence of the box and its purpose were better known. At breakfast and lunch especially, when men are more apt to straggle into the hall, they buy papers in lieu of better company; if at these meals men would kindly leave their papers in the box, they would confer a great favor on the Hospital authorities. All legitimate publications, serious or comic, will be gladly received.
