This evening at 7 there will be a business meeting of the Wendell Phillips Club in University 16. Every member of the club is requested to be present as there is important business to be considered. The meeting will be open to members only.
At the meeting on October 27th the question for debate will be: Resolved, That the "hard times" of the present year have been mainly due to the uncertainly in regard to the tariff legislation.
At the last meeting a committee consisting of Messrs. A. P. Stone, Joseph Wiggin and F. C. Thwaits, was appointed to confer with Yale and Princeton in regard to joint debates, and the advisability of forming an intercollegiate debating league.
