ENGLISH C.- Before five o'clock on Monday, Oct. 16. all members of English C will please place in the box for forensics in Sever 10 a brief drawn from the "Material for a Brief," of the "Brief Pamphlet. All briefs must be in the box before five o'clock.
Introductory matter should be carefully distinguished from the brief proper, and special attention should be given to distinguishing main from subordinate ideas and to phrasing both as reasons for the conclusion. The brief should not exceed two pages of forensic paper written on one side. These briefs will be discussed in class at the Tuesday lectures.
