Harvard was well represented at the Williams College centennial. Among those present were President Eliot '53, Governor Russell '77, Hon. William Everett '59, and Lieutenant-Governor Walcott. President Eliot and Governor Russell spoke at the celebration.
The following Harvard men received the degree of LL. D.: Justin Winsor '53, Wm. Everett '59, Henry Cabot Lodge '71.
