The first meeting of the Wendell Phillips Club for the year will occur on Friday evening, October 13, at 7.45 in Sever 11.
Any member of the University may become a candidate for membership in the club, by speaking before the society at any one of its regular meetings. Those members of the University, however, who have previously been members of a debating society, may become candidates by handing in their names at the meeting on Friday night, or by send-
