Dr. A. P. Peabody is to be one of the guests at the annual dinner of the Williams Alumni Association to be held in Boston next Wednesday.
The Laland prize of the Paris Academy of Sciences was awarded to Professor Barnard, of the Lick Observatory, on December 19, 1892, for his work in astronomy, especially for his discovery of the fifth satellite of Jupiter.
